Taste of Etna
Volcano is the Gin with elegant features and an aromatic and spicy character.
During a walk through the lava pathway of Volcano Etna we decided to bottle that astonishing perfumes and aromas. On Etna juniper found its perfect habitat. The Broom flower, having this beautiful bittersweet taste, it is the first botanical to break the lava rocks and restart life after an eruption. We infuse wild fennel to enrich the aromatic character, bitter orange zest for an expressive acidity and freshness and hazelnuts to add a distinctive bodied elegance.

IDEA
Compared to the high mountain juniper of Northern Italy, on the Etna it takes on a mineral vein that gives it cleanness and great freshness thanks to the volcanic soil in which it grows from and to which it feeds. Hence the need to create a unique product that represents the many facets of a rich and enchanting territory.
CONCEPT
Volcano Gin is conceived as a great wine. Accurate is the choice of botanists who mix one by one while maintaining their personality, acting on the product in an exclusive way, making it unique and precious as what has brought it into the womb: Etna. Floral and fruity character, aroma, acidity and freshness, structure and roundness, persistence and balance are all elements found in a large bottle. Volcano is thought to drink especially on its own, as a digestive at the end of the meal where it is appreciated for its softness and fragrance.
TASTE
The minerality of the Etna juniper is exalted both on the palate and on the nose. Our reference botanist is the broom flower which, from an organoleptic point of view, offers an interesting contrast between sweet and bitter. Wild Fennel releases aromatic and herbaceous notes that give vigorous aromas and flavors. The bitter orange gives freshness and acidity for a pleasant drink. The hazelnut embraces all the previous botanicals giving balance, fatness, roundness and structure.
DEVELOP
The pursuit of elegance is at the center of the project. In the local concept Etna is considered to be of a feminine nature and it is to this particular public that our effort has been dedicated, to offer a product with gentle and not aggressive features.
DESIGN
This Gin is a tribute to the extraordinary territory of Etna. For this reason, its packaging wants to reveal itself as precious and intriguing. The bottle with a mighty glass is reminiscent of the unforgettable period of the “Prohibition Era”, the era in which the skilful quest for good drinking begins. The cap, hand-drawn by a local craftsman, is made with Etna volcanic sand so that a piece of Etna can travel with every single bottle of Volcano Gin, wherever it goes, fly or stay. The simple but refined label offers bas-relief games that recall capricious lava drawings.
